As stated elsewhere in this site, I have been building web sites for 11 years, and over that period have kept an active interest in the physical sciences.

I am also a Photographer and have produced many of the images used in the various sites MVW Science builds.
With a long standing interest in computer programming, astronomy, physics and mathematics, I studied Astrophysics at Queen Mary College, University of London. Subsequently I got a job as a computer programmer using languages such as Fortran 4, Coral 66, ATAL. Later work avenues lead me to making web sites for a university X-Ray Astronomy group. Years of working for others lead me to start my own business offering web site design on a commercial basis. I much prefer working for myself!

I have also worked as an assistant editor and sub-editor on astronomy books and magazines, have contributed to astronomy books, and written sections for the Sunday Times Magazine special CD-ROMs.
